sometimes they have tiny leaves on at the supermarket along the stalk, well we had some purple sprouting broclli in the garden and the leaves around that which look just like those on the actual brocolli that you buy in a shop, can they eat them? mine love the small leaves and ours are like the size of a big spring cabbage leaf.. just thought id check first :)

Yep! They can eat the broccoli, the whole broccoli and nothing but the broccoli (Sorry! Flipped out there for a minute or two! 98)) Anyway it's all perfectly safe O0. Mine only like the stalks with the little leaves on anyway!

heh mine are broclli mad, my mum got 3 brocolli for £1 from the market and they are big so i split one between 7 of them, mine seem to prefer the stalk more.. i'll go and pick some leaves then from the garden the frost seems to have made them go a bit wilted but the look ok..just probably killed the plant off!

Mine seem to like the leaves and stalk best.
Good job, as my daughter only likes the *trees*. ;D

ahh bless, having said that at least she eats *trees* and doesnt avoid vegetables like a lot of kids do! lol its good to make veg fun :D

i used to hide my cauliflower etc under my mash so my mum thought id eaten it lol

Not all mine like it only certain little boars the rest leave most of it so I just give them the stalks when we have broccoli ourselves.

Mine prefer the leaves so I pick the leaves off the stalks in the supermarket and add it to my bag ;D

Mine love brocolli loads! However much they have it there little mouths still chew like mad..Its like there scared ones going to get more than the other.

Mine eat all of it but the massive blocky bit at the bottom with i tend to cut off when opening it....

i was routing through the cauliflowers earlier, and a guy said to me you after the biggest? i said no I'm looking for the most leafiest lol my mum explained it was for my guinea pigs :D

If I give my lot broccoli, they look at it, then look at me, then look at the broccoli again and then ask me "what this rubbish is" and "where's the real food?" ;D
