Broccoli..

Really quick question.. I bought my piggies some broccoli the other day, do they eat it raw or do I need to cook it? Sorry for such a stupid question! Do I just give them the floret-y bits, or can they have the whole lot (not in one go, obviously!) xx

They eat it raw and can have the head or stalk. Guinea pigs must never have cooked or frozen food. I hope yours eat it. Mine will only eat purple sprouting broccoli.

Mine both love broccoli and will munch both the florets and the stalks. I love to hear them crunching in to it . A firm favourite !

The broccoli went down really well! Think they loved something new. Of course, as soon as the parsley went in, all other veggies were forgotten. Haha.

Mine love brocolli, They also love Kale & Spinach.

Mine (several over the years) have always loved the stalks but tend to leave the florets....fussy piggies!

Mine love a bit of broccoli but it can make them gassy so not too much. One pair love the stalks and leave the florets, the others prefer the florets, so between them I have no waste!

mine love broccoli too, the stalks more than the heads. they also like cauliflower too!
