I really want to read a good gripping book, fantasy but i like books in triologys can anyone recommend, love to be swept away and put myself in the situation, smell the meadow so to speak.

please with no central heating have lots of opertunity to snuggle up with a cuppa to read

I adore books when my kids were young I was paranoid abouthem treating books with respect and they learnt not to damage them etc now if my nieces come round I have a low book shelf for them to read from but they tend to rip and draw on them, I find it hard to just take it grrr the books are damaged already soem I got from boot sales especially for them, but i have 3 book cases in my house and while on the cruise in march managed to read 4 of my own books and one of carrie annes , I read the Jon Bon Jovi autobiography and a few agatha christys and carries war that was carrie annes, at the moment i am reading All the sweet promises by Elizabeth Elgin but love Lillian Harry books and adore the Agatha Raisen books

I love reading, I am a big Mary Higgins Clark fan and am waiting for her next book, it is out in hardback but prefer the paperbacks as they are easier to hold in bed!

I am reading Maureen Lee at the mo, "Kitty and her sisters" they are a really nice easy going read inbetween the gripping MHC books!

However the best books ever are by Robert Goddard, I am waiting for his next one, they have twists and turns all over the place they are the best!

I get quite stressed if I haven't got a book on the go. I'm really bad if I'm reading a good book cos I get really engrossed and end up late for things as I'm so busy reading.

I loved the eary Patricia Cornwell books but not the newer ones.

Jeffery Deaver is brilliant if you like nail-biting thrillers. I also really like Faye Kellerman and the Pete Decker series.

www.greenmetropolis.com is a great site where you can buy and sell books and they plant trees for you too.

I love reading too, i'm always moaning 'I'm bored' 'theres nothing to do' when I haven't got a book lol

I read anything I can get my hands on. Currently its 'The Zahir' by Paulo Coelho. I get twitchy if I don't have a book on the go.

I really don't care what I read - there are 7 charity shops near me & I just stock up when they have offers like 3 for £1. I have found loads of authors I like this way. Books are the only thing I don't actually question or look at the price of if I'm getting them new. I have found I tend to like male authors better. But I must try out this Lucinda Hart person - sounds like she's a 'up and coming'!

Sidney Sheldon is good too. Can't remember which one it was I read but the twists were really clever.

I have read all of louise rennisons books about a girl called georgia nicolsons diary. they are called angus, thongs and full frontal snogging, its ok I'm wearing really big knickers, knocked out by my nuga nugas, then he ate my boy entrancer, startled by his fury shorts and there is a new one out tht i am reading now but i cant think what it is called. I have also read private peacful by micheal morpurgo and a few more by him. At the moment i am reading Gulf by Robert Westall. They are all cool books but i am more into stuff like ghost girl and true books. I also like funny books. I only get bored of reading when i am tired ::)

Just finished 31 dream street which was very good and have just started shopaholic and baby? love girly books although i'm a tomboy!

Has anyone read Ruth Rendell - Kissing the Gunners daughter? Me and OH went away last weekend and the hotel we stayed in had a library and I started reading this book.... really stupid thing to do cause I obviously wasnt going to have time to finish it! Ive looked around for it in my local library but cant find it and am desperate to know the story line - help anyone?

Like pumpkinpiggie I eagerly await the Harry Potter book!
