I can't watch watership down, always makes me cry. :'(

you mean the film or the book? Because if you read the book first, the film makes more sense!

If you are talking about the part when Hazel dies at the end, well he doesn't actually die until 3-4 years later....so he gets to see all of his friends happy and all of his efforts to get them there fulfilled ;D God I'm a nerd haha

I don't read that much lol, I start reading then get bored.. ::) Only thing I really "read" now is manga, but that's more looking at the pics than reading :P

Dont get much time to read but am reading Sylvia Pankhursts book at the mo - what women had to do to get the vote - deep reading, very intense. Holidays when i read usually get a few from a charity shop for the week and take them back to the shop on the last day!

I love to read when time allows and like alsorts of books, I also get books from charity shops and read and return them its a great way to read cheaply, I like Nicky French, Patricia Cornwell, Ruth Rendall etc also of course animal and country type books Doreen Tovey writes really funny books about her cats ;D

**feels so embarrassed**

I like to read Sophie Kinsella's stuff as it's lighthearted as I'm not into the deep stuff yet O0

I like sci fi and fanasy stuff, but at the moment i am reading the God deception, good book, but yes a good fansy book at bed time better than sex ;D(much better)

Just finished a fantastic book called "Not Without my Daughter" about an amercian woman marreid to an Iranian chap - they live in the States with their daugher until he persuades her to visit his family in Iran for a holiday .. then traps them tere. Its about her struggle to get her and her daugher out of Iran and its gripping. Its a true story, happened in the 1980s.

Ooooo I bet you was stuck inside the book, gripping books make you not wanna sleep and just read more lol

who here gets sucked into a book and hears and smells all the things they do in the books and then gets a craving for the food they eat, and then gets disappointed when they snap back to reality

I LOVE Lisa Jewell's books. I've read all of them apart from this. You'll have to tell me what its like O0

I must have a couple of 1000 books - there is a second hand bookshop in my street ;D

faves include Patrick McGrath, Jilly Cooper, Maeve Binchy, Richard Selzer, John Harding, JM Coetzee, Barbara Erskine, Nick Hornby, Margaret Atwood, Robert Westall, Nicholas Evans, Mark Chadbourn, bloody hell I could go on for wheeks.

my favourite authors are Wilbur Smith, Kathy Reichs and Martina Cole. I like to read crime/forensic novels mainly. I don't tend to keep them though as I haven't got the spavce, I pass them on to my Mom and then I take them to the charity shop :(

I like to read when time permits, mostly to and from work on the bus.... sooooo long! ::)

I've read most books by James Patterson, LOTR trilogy, Terry Pratchett. When I was younger I liked famous 5, secret 7(think that's right!) roald dahl books :) Only autobiography I've ever read is Graham Norton's, it's brill! I also have pigleopaedia(sp?) and diseases of domestic gp on my shelf.

Gosh this list could be endless! ;D

Famous Five and Secret Seven - I loved those books! Also a series by an author called Malcolm Saville - set in Shropshire, loved those too. I read quite a bit now too, various books. What really annoys me is if you get halfway through a book and suddenly realise you're not enjoying it that much. Has just happened with me with a book called Labyrinth by Kate Mosse (not the model!). It was on Richard & Judy's book club I think (says so on the cover!). It was about 700 pages and I read 250 pages and decided I couldn't wade my way through the rest. Anyone read it? What happened?!

My fave book which I've read about 5 times is Shake Down the Stars by Frances Donnelly. It's about 3 friends in World War 2. There's just something about it which I really love. I really like Thomas Hardy too but also like Jill Mansell's books too, really easy going - happy books!

My favs are Kathy Reichs, James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, James Herbert, Dean Koontz, Jodi Picoult, the Harry Potter books and of course my piggy lopedia!

Niki x

I love books I even worked in a book shop for 4 years! My favourite authors are Joanne Harris (Chocolat), I have pretty much all the books by Jodi Picoult but I haven't read them all yet, I am half way through How To Kill Your Husband by Kathy Lette and I love Books by Frank Peretti.
