What kind of tablets were they? When my mum went onto an ACE inhibitor she was dizzy for a few days and had to have time off work but when I went onto them a few months ago I was OK.

Errm I'm not entirely sure. They're a combination of 2 because I'm poor and can't afford 2 prescriptions :) It has Cozaar or something on the box. :)

I went back to the docs today to have my blood pressure checked again and its "significantly lower". She was very pleased with me. The tablets really knocked the stuffing out of me and today is the first day I've felt any bit normal for a week.

I've been doing so well eating healthy food too. My body has gone into shock ;D My cooking leaves a lot to be desired though as I've said before. My friend tasted my lunch and I thought she was going to be sick ;D She just said "you need help" ;D. That night she brought me some home made salsa sauce and gave me the recipe. Oh my goodness it is divine. I call it Janet's magic sauce. Suddenly the world has become a tastier place ;D

You see!

It can be tasty being healthy. You just need some recipies to follow.
I'm sorry - I meant to have a look at home for you - will do this weekend

That salsa sauce can be very versatile i imagine

You can use it as a dip with veg or low fat crisps
You can use it as a low fat pizza bases sauce
Or for Fajitas (v low fat if you use no sour cream or guacamole)

hurrah!

If you ever fancy pizza but want to be healthy, take 2 - 4 ryvita and use some salsa sauce on the base, add some cooked mushrooms and onions, maybe some of that thinly sliced ham. Cover in a sprinkle of grated cheese, and pop under the grill.
Delicious and guilt free!

:)

mmm that sounds lovely!

We began making out own pizza dough with granary flour some years ago - an occasional treat but the kids prefer it to the white base.
