Hello. I am new to this forum. My Cavie has a chipped upper and I need some advice. Can anyone help me

You really need to see a vet to see what damage has been done. As there is bleeding an antibiotic might be needed to stop infection setting in
 
I have merged your threads and moved them to the health and illness section. Please do not create multiple threads for the same issue
 
Does her breath smell? If so it could be food suck in the teeth. Get it out if you can, I've seen people scratch the scabs off to help it heal before applying regular antibacterial cream twice a day but I'd be too scared personally. Always safer to let a professional do the dirty work

Please do not recommend home treatments on this forum, it goes against the ethos of the forum. We are not in a position to diagnose problems on here, only a hands on examination by a vet can do this

Not saying instead of, I completely agree a vet is always the best course of action. Just trying to give a little context of what it might be and what they could expect at the vet :)

Then you need to make that clear in your posts. How you have posted above makes it sound like this is ok to try before seeing a vet and someone panicking over the health of their pet may put more weight than normal on your comments. Not only could this be potentially dangerous if they purchase an over the counter human product which might not be suitable for guinea pigs but any treatment could wipe the crime scene so to speak making it harder and more costly for a vet to find out what the problem is.
