Bladder stones

I'm guessing the operation went well?
We haven't been diagnosed with a bladder stone bit after a month of antibiotics, three different vets we're certain that's what we will be dealing with.

The vet I used is a specialist and very experienced with guinea pigs. The operation did go well and he recovered but unfortunately we were back two weeks later with similar problems on the other kidney. There was no way he would have managed another operation so we had to help him go

Hi all, looking again for some advice.

Zinny has had an ultrasound today and there are no signs of stones. Our vet says he has cystisis, he does have a thickened bladder wall.

We are going to pick him up shortly and our vet is going to do the ultrasound so we can see. In your experiences what medication should we expect to see him on? Can this be healed?

Thank you

Little Nug had to have another operation as the bladder stones became attached to a stitch in his belly and formed on it. So there was ever any way he could have passed it. Poor little thing. He's doing well at the moment, so fingers crossed for the future.
