seriously really bad two months you all know I lost two of my boys in Feb - but worse was too come as on Mothers day I lost my mum to alzheimers related and Friday just gone my sisters husband aged 57 lost his fight with cancer- - so feeling pretty numb at the moment but I know how good you lot are at cheering people up so
think up as many crap jokes as you can I want to forget my worrys and have a great day

Hey mate, am so sorry to read this. I lost my Dad the other month so know what you are going through, take each day as it comes. Hopefully see you again Saturday x

I've just returned from a week abroad visiting my parents and my sweet Alexander has his neuter tomorrow so it's best to stay home and keep a close eye on him. I thought I could do it all but now that its nearer time I think its best not to go.

I too for one reason or another have a bad time recently not as bad as yours. Sure we could cheer one another up. Be my first meet up . Hopefully meet you on Saturday xx

I will be creating a thread for Alex neuter and really appreciate your well wishes. So nerve wrecking. Gutted I can't make it but I think I would spend all afternoon wondering how is is back home. @gogoguineas it would have been lovely to see you again.
 
Hi All

I tried to post earlier when there was a discussion about how we would all fit into the pub (e.g. rotating seats etc). I'm afraid that I have a bad back and I will HAVE to sit down all the time, otherwise I'll be a lot of pain (although it is better after a few drinks) :beer:

I hope that's ok. My train gets in at 12 on the dot.I hope that'll be in time to meet up at lost luggage.

It's quite a big pub and we WILL manage to grab an area to ourselves! We'll make sure you are as comfy as possible and supply you with 'painkillers' :beer: :D

I think some people who are getting in earlier will be getting there earlier to claim an area, am I right?
I personally will be meeting people in the station to walk there as I can never remember the way lol.
 
The closer this gets the sadder I get that I can't go! :( :( I hope there will be another one later in the year, would love to meet all you guys!
 
I am looking forward to it now, a little nervous too though as always :) I can't think of many online communities where this type of things happens it shows what a special bunch of people we have here at TGPF. x
 
We just have too remember last years tactics- surround and intimidate - that got rid of all the non guineapig persons sitting where we were - LOL
Or if we all bring along a pocketful of POOP and scatter around their feet (or in their beer) that will also make them move seats :gd:

Why did I think this was a 2pm start? I'm sure the others I've been to were 2pm!
If I'm going to the animal charity event in the morning I'd arrive 2pm ish but by the sound of it I'd better get better organised & get there a bit earlier I will miss lunch & get there earlier hopefully.
