I don't know (pasture, Rhodes grass), but you can only get massive bales from farms near me (I mean like 100kg or something insane - I don't have the space for that). The only good brands of Timothy hay here are Oxbow and Alfalfa King (which are both imported). So I pay quite a bit per month on hay. Unfortunately, I can't get Hay Box, Small Pet Select or any of the other cheaper brands.
Oh well! Only the best for the piggies, right? 😂
 
If you have any rescues near you I think I'd be doing a deal with them! They must get the big bales so can they sell you lumps for a few dollars to try and cover their costs?! Wow - I thought the biggest problem you had out there was vet fees (and maybe the snakes tbh) but your piggies live like royalty! You have my admiration 👑
