Barney Bubbles In Surgery Today - Lump Removal

Sorry to hear that it is malignant. Here's hoping that the vet has removed it and it doesn't come back. BB is a credit to your nursing skills as he had a big operation to get over.
 
UPDATE - just a little update on Barney Bubbles after his malignant lump removal mid- October. Has been a bit up and down as he has had some gut issues and I had to drastically reduce his veg to stabilise his poos but overall he is fine. Here is a pic from a few days ago and the hair has grown back even more since then:-

Bit of an improvement on the earlier post op photo?
He is busy snoozing with Sudoku right now! Lets hope he can stay healthy for a good while now.
 
Thanks for the update Laura. It is good to see how his fur has regrown in that photo which also sees him tucking into his hay which is a good sign. I hope he continues to improve.

looks like the hair is growing back nicely,its a shame it was a malignant lump, but hopefully its all been removed now. speedy recovery Mr Beautiful Barney :luv:

don't be thinking the worse , l googled MPNST, and athough every case is differant ! the post opp longgevety for humans is several years ,
so if it can be a few years for humans Barny could well have a long troble free life
