Badger Cannot Eat!

Ok, so absolutely no vets are willing to do molar filing without GA in my county. I tried Trinity vets in Maidstone (the only one in Kent on the recommended vets tool on here) and they said no also, so it looks like he'll be going back to the one who did his first last week. They said they'd be happy to do it under light sedation, whenever it is needed, so there's that I guess. I'm plying him with Alfalfa King Timothy hay, to try my best to keep them down naturally for as long as possible. Dear lord, these pigs are going to give me a heart attack!
 
Oh gosh poor you, it's been a couple of days of ups and downs. I hope those teeth can be managed without much of a fuss x

Thank you! It really has, neither of my boars seem too bothered by their ordeals, then there's me; panicking about everything! Badgers still looking good, eating his hay non-stop. He's still 'gaping' a bit when eating some veg but it isn't putting him off so far, he's starting to re-gain his weight (slowly) so fingers crossed that's a left over of his dental coming into play rather then new growth already!
 
Just a positive update on this, Badger hasn't had any trouble since his dental, he's eating his normal amounts again :) The increase in really coarse hay seems to be working, they can't get enough and is keeping their teeth worn down, so I believe his trouble to begin with was me buying only quite soft hay. Lesson learnt! Still keeping an eye on him, he's slowly gaining weight back so overall though, very positive :)
