Hi, I'm worried for my piggies. When I came downstairs this morning I've noticed they've got under their fleece and ate about a quarter of their puppy pad. It's the cheap ones from home bargains (in case that is any significance) they are eating and drinking as normal, and popcorning just the same amount but I'm not sure whether I should call a vet or not?

They've managed to eat half a plastic bag once before and were fine so I'm not sure whether I'm over reacting or not. I hope they are ok! X

That's quite a lot of puppy pad to eat! ...but I don't think it will do them any harm. Just keep an eye on them and check that they are still eating and pooping as usual.

thats a shock! Just keep an eye make sure they are eating and pooping and all should be fine. Lots of instances of this on the forum passing without issue, like this thread here Ate Puppy Pad Piggies are little swines at eating things they shouldn't

Try not to worry

See a vet asap if your piggies are showing signs of not being well. Hopefully it is just all passing through.

Try to fix the fleeces with bulky items or clips to prevent them from getting at the pads.

They are both eating well so hopefully they are fine x
