All the best!
Just got home- with lots of medsthis vet thinks it is breathing related and hopefully just an infection
her tests have been moved to this Friday and she has gut stimulants (because she's eating very little by herself), more recovery food because we are going through so much, metacam (been injected and can use at home from tomorrow) and baytril incase it is an infection, then if she hasn't improved by Friday she will go in for the tests
everything crossed
I'm so glad I called the vets and didn't wait it out

ThankyouGreat news!Go gorgeous Flower giving your sass!
Hope you both have a good night and she keeps on scoffing, so glad she’s feeling a bit betterxx
ThankyouSo good to hear she is taking the Emeraid. Mine all love it. Hopefully her poop output will increase as shes's continuing with food through her guts and the gas is being dispersed. I hope that the antibiotics soon help with her breathing, too. But always good to hear she's got a bit of fight in her. Poorly piggies do not run away from you.
Aw so sorry, just when she was doing so well. Hoping she makes a good recovery, sending hugs, it’s hard when they are poorly xSo little miss floweris back to giving me a right scare! She seemed to get better on the treatment to the point her tests were cancelled then had a wobble Friday morning but had perked right up by the vet trip that day! Then Saturday night had a wobble till Monday morning then was seemingly fine till last night when she really started to scare me! She's been doing horrendous breathing overnight and eating less syringe feed but you can see how hard she's trying! She's been hospitilised for fluids and a nebuliser as it sounds like there's some snot or something on her chest

Flower came home Tuesday night a completely different piggy! The nebuliser definitely helped and the bisolvon stuff, going to get her a nebuliser for home incase it happens again (vet thinks she could have some weird form of piggy asthma or something) felt like a right muppet because apparently aside from her breathing she'd been fine all day(piggies!) she really scared me during the night though her breathing wasn't great at all and she seemed so weak when if was happening her little ears were cold at one point
Wednesday morning for the first time in 2 weeks she wheeked a tiny snuffly wheek for food and was right there at the front of the cage
I almost cried with relief
she's still very crackly but that hopefully means it's clearing and she's eating by herself
OK flower
no more scares now! Mummy is a nervous wreck!
Thankyou I haven't beeen to sleep, the second time in a year this has happened! I never want to watch another natural piggy death ever! If it wasn't for the fact I had no transport andd sleeping children I wouldve done emergency vets for pts! Thankfully she didn't do any of the things on the emergency pts listI’m so sorry to hear this. Sending you huge hugs
