Another slightly snuffling piggy 😣

Both marshmallow and nugget have a recheck at my usual vets tomorrow to see if they need any more antibiotics, we're almost out and 5 days seems an awfully short course to me so I emailed them to ask and now they want to recheck them to see if they need the course extending hopefully they will be fine?

Yes 5 days is definitely short, I’d want them on them a couple of weeks really if my piglets? Hope it goes well xx

Definitely! Hopefully they’ll be ok about more, be stern! 5 days definitely not enough in my opinion or like you say, you’ll be back in a few days as not got rid of it poor girlies (and you!) xx

Not surprised bless you, with Babybelle and the pigwigs you don’t get much of a rest from them! Hopefully they’ll be ok and no more after this for ages! Hope the appt goes well xx

Massive hugs, know it must be so hard with everything going on this week, hopefully another week or so of meds and they’ll be feeling all better and you can be a bit less stressed too! xx

Thankyou I really hope so but I know they'll see them, say there not snuffling as bad and say no more antibiotics then ill be back there next week with snuffly pigs! Xx

Just try and stay strong and say you’re not happy with just 5 days. I’ve had the cats on meds for short times like that but I think rodents need it longer most definitely. If I’d just had the rats on 5 day courses of antibiotics then we wouldn’t have never gotten rid of their chesty issues at all! Know it’s hard to speak up some times but try and be brave! xx

Well their snuffles came back somewhat worse especially for marshmallow bless her she's got some yucky yellow nose discharge today so they've got another week of antibiotics xx
