A Haggis is not a small four-legged shaggy-maned creature found in the Scottish Highlands or Lowlands nor has been hunted to extinction in the wild and is not, as a result, the subject of an intensive WWF-funded breeding programme at a safari park just outside Auchtermuchty.

Depending on whether the haggis is a Highland or Lowland haggis will determine whether it’s the left legs or the right legs that are slightly shorter. This is to make running round mountains easier as one breed prefers to run clockwise while the others run anti-clockwise.
