My Guinea pigs seem to dislike Alexa. Whilst eating their veggies I asked Alexa a question. Once Alexa started talking the piggies stopped eating, put heads up and made grumbling noises. Once Alexa stopped the went back to eating.

Is Alexa something Guinea pigs usually get Annoyed by?

Have a video but it's to large.

It’s funny what they can take a disliking to. Mine hate the sounds of car keys rattling

You need to put a video on a third party hosting site such as you tube or Facebook and link it across using the chain icon in the tool bar.

Our Guinea pigs don’t like computer voices, so anything talking through computer/tablet is a no no. Even if its just ordinary catch up tv. However watching tv on the actual tv is ok!

I've got one piggy who doesn't like keys rattling, the door bell, a knock at the door, coughing, sneezing and even when I open the curtains cos of the curtain hooks moving along the pole. He's fine with alexa though lol.

They don’t purr or rumble at Alexa in the video, so it’s probably just that it’s an unknown voice to them. My piggies can be funny if there are strangers (to them) in the house, refusing to come out or eat. So maybe it’s just that they don’t recognise who is speaking?
