i put my guinea in our bath and ran it to half his size so half of him was out of the water, the water was luke warm, how we normally have it but today once i took him out and wrapped him up with a towel and gave him his second veg for the day i noticed he started vibrating. At first i thought he was just cold so a got another towel and wrapped it round him but he still continued to vibrate... Any ideas of what this could be?

Many thanks,
Nicky xx:)

He probably was just cold, one of mine does this no matter the precautions i take, so i only bathe her when absolutely necessary. Once fully dried, did he stop shivering?x

I had the same thing happen with my longer haired aby after his first bath. He didn't want me to towel dry him or stay in a towel so I sat him and his buddy under a heat lamp that's up by the ceiling (so it wasn't too close to them, and it also doesn't get very hot, a family member uses it to deal with cold flashes) they adored the warm spot and settled down to groom and nap and eat some nice watery veg (didn't want them getting dehydrated!). Perfect end to bath time if you ask me :)
