Sodapops
Adult Guinea Pig
Am keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed for you, Finley and his girls
Thanks Jo! I know i've said it a million times but i reaaaaalllly hope i can get this to work!
Ps, there were a lot of poops in the video as i hadn't done a poop scoop for the day, but i thought it would be better to leave them all in place for when Finley went in for a big sniff around!
They are all now in their own cages with no poops present (probably for at least one minuet rolleyes!)
You need a Misty! She has now created her own 'poo corner' and will mainly go there (except if she is reaaalllyy comfy in her cosie!). Loving it as sooo much easier to clean - except typically for her she has used the most inaccessible corner! mallethead
The words "guinea pigs" & "no poop" cannot ever be said in the same sentence lol
This thread makes me realise how easy I had it when I introduced my neutered boar (also from Walsall) to his current lady friend! Thus I don't really have much advice! I introduced on neutral ground, which was the lawn, provided great distraction. Ed rumbled at Pickle at bit, tried to mount her but she shoved him off and after a few minutes he just gave up. They moved into a thoroughly cleaned out hutch together after about 2 dates and the rest is history. I've had no problems with fighting and Ed now prefers to use his moves to try and chat up the water bottle! He's the funniest thing - my Mum says she thinks he's just giddy and happy!
Finley is a lovely piggie, so I do hope it works out. I'm sure once the three of them become accustomed to life together it'll be fine!
did you bath the wounds where hair was pulled out - is salty water on a cotton wool ok?
ive experienced this before too its awful seeing them fight hope they both will be ok - advice given by others is great - i hope they bond again and all be ok ")
