A Teddy All On Her Own, How Could I Resist?!

I had 2 purebred Rex piggies & had 2 before that which were definitely Rex or Rex crosses, their whiskers are usually curly & the hair is not uniform like a Teddy, Teddies seem to have slightly shorter more even looking fur if you see what I mean :) I will try & post a pic of mine on here, it is a bit hard for me to do as I still haven't got over losing them, they are the most adorable loving breed imo & losing mine definitely broke my heart sadly.
So sorry that you are still struggling with their loss. My Esme was always up for cuddles and never ran away when anyone approached! She was at least 6 and was lively and her usual self in the evening and gone in the morning. I know we'd had a great relationship in the three years or so we had together. Sad, but some great times. Hope you had the same. X

Oh! They were truly beautiful.

They were :) Petal was Daisy's mum & had chronic UTIs for 4 years :( Daisy sadly died aged only 4 & I can still cry when I think about her, we had a really strong bond, I could tickle her in their house & she would almost roll over for me to get her tummy tickled :( You are very lucky, they are the most gentle loving piggies of all the breeds imo :)

I believe true rex's also have their hair go the wrong way, my Drom has to be stroked and brushed the wrong direction (from bum to head) as that's the direction her fur grows.

It's coarse and almost stands on end most the time! :))

They're gorgeous! Thank you for posting. I do understand how hard it is. I miss mine so much xx

Dennis's hair grows in all sorts of directions and he has a whorl at the top of his bum near his hips!

How funny, Drom has two little whirls, almost like rosettes but not quite. They look like her bum cheeks :))
