Think she’s realised he’s not too bad when you look at him and he doesn’t try and mount your head! But any sniff to his back end not allowed without him trying to get her! :td:

I don’t think she can make her mind up to be honest, he’s very full on and then quite calm (for 5mins!). So she’s joining him for a munch during the calm, he then starts and she runs and keeps away, snapping at him, making scared noises etc.
They had a 15min snooze next to each, seemed ok for a while. I’ve just put some more hay and sprinkled a little veg around to try and encourage her to move around a bit more (and distract him hopefully!).

She hasn’t had the ‘hump’ issue for a good while, at age 6 Rupert really couldn’t be bothered anymore bless him! Food and a cuddle was good enough for him! :love:

Sorry just posted at same time :) haha yep, a huge amount, gagging to get in there and clean a bit but am just leaving them to it!
Sat watching them for nearly 6 hours but having a cuppa with the cat now I know I’m sort of safe of any big battles! xx
 
They are a gorgeous little funky pair bless them! :love: They’re having another nap now, Jess needs lotsa those at her age! But a bit closer and not as noisy, think she’s forgiving him for all the manhandling all day! Might clean out the cages soon, haven’t risked it yet as they were a bit too up and down for my liking!
 
Sounds like a love match, the next big test is when they go back home together to their cage... so exciting but so nerve wracking!

My little lady was exhausted so had a good snooze, he’s then gone up and stuck his face in hers, not very impressed! So a bit of crazy, angry Jess madness and lots of noise but calmed down again now so munch time! :)

These were posh ones too, organic vine ripened cherry ones! £2 down to 50p selling off at the co op down the road! Love a good bargain! Celery for 16p :) and some tasty things from the bakery to stuff in my face when I’ve finished the drinks! :))

Think it has thanks @Bill & Ted, knew it was going to be a long one with her! But she’s got her confidence to stand up to him a bit more now in her living room and so not taking his annoying humpy trouble now! :love: So pleased, did worry earlier and his cage is still ready in the other room if I quickly need to separate but think we’ll be ok:D xx
 
Congratulations @alpacasqueak I think its been a very successful bonding, so glad Jess has a new friend, I love a piggy wedding, its so much more interesting than hooman celeb weddings or even people I actually know in real life :)
 
Thanks @PigglePuggle :) yep I’m so happy she’s got company, him too :love: Hadn’t thought about it til my mum said a little while ago on the phone, he’s fairly young and has been alone a good few months too, so nice think they’ll have a night with piggy company together :luv: bless them, both mad but suits my house full of strange ones!
And most definitely more interesting than these hoomans spending thousands, a bit of hay and veg and very exciting stuff to watch!
 
Well I’d thought about it, that sounds odd, just that he’s a baby really, so young compared to her and he’s spent it in a lonely cage with a guy he doesn’t get on with next door for god knows how long.
Then at the rescue, snipped at vets and weeks alone again. So must be loving it (when I was getting worried about him ‘overdoing’ it, not surprised he did really!), a bit of company and she’s a lady too! :love: :love:
 
Sounds a resounding success.
Bonding is very stressful for slaves.
You should have some time to put your feet up and enjoy your drink and treats
 
Thanks @Merab's Slave, it’s been very successful so I’m chuffed :wub: A couple of drinks and now the treats being very much enjoyed!
Silence from the living room after they’ve shared their supper so can hopefully sleep soundly! Well as much as you can with a Pedro in the bedroom! :) x

Luigi has been almost silent all morning apart from a few happy noises! He’s seeming very content with a bit of company :love:
