8 year old piggy with a tumor is now peeing blood.

She's gotten herself into a more comfortable position instead of standing. I rarely see her lay down like this. I wrapped blankets all around her and put the purple ones on the walls so the heat from the heater is directed down to where she is. I know she's at least comfortable. She hasn't squeaked in pain since last night and I gave her her meloxicam an hour ago.

There is some food and mashed up pellets right next to her head if she wants it but she hasn't touched it. My little bottomless pit tank girl has finally lost her appetite : (

It's confirmed. She is getting ready to go. Since she was laying directly in her old fleece and breathing in old UTI infected urine I decided it's best to carefully bring her out to give her some nice fresh fleece to rest in and when I carefully picked her up, her body felt stiff...Her legs and hands stayed in the position she was laying in and she felt very heavy and slack. No fight left in her. She's still alive but I doubt she will be much longer. She wasn't very responsive. Not even closing her eye when I gently ed pet her face. I gave her some nice warm and clean fleece and layered some microfiber towels over that, laid her gently on them and covered her with more. The heater is still on her. I gave her one final dose of her pain meds and also rubbed the CBD gel inside her ears for added comfort ( I know in the UK it's not something you guys do but it is here in california and there is no THC to make her high and right now I want anything that can help her pass on peacefully)

My husband and I said our goodbyes, pet her one last time and covered her up so she is buried how she buried herself before when her fleece was dirty. This is how she wants it. This is how my baby will get it. I hope she goes peacefully.

Sorry for your loss. Kooky was clearly very loved and you did everything you could for her. Sometimes that’s all we can do. 8 years is a great age and testimony to the love and care she received. Sleep tight little one.

Such a lovely calm passing. I’m sorry she had to go over the bridge. But she had 8 wonderful long years with you. That is amazing. Popcorn high Kooky. Take care ❤️

So very sorry for your loss. Sending you a big hug.

Popcorn free across the rainbow bridge little one.💕🌈🐾
