Zooplus delivery

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has had a cage delivered by Zooplus?

I am hoping to order one later, but I wanted to know what they are like with delivery.

There's a big chance that no one will be home when they deliver it, has anyone had anything as big as a cage delivered by them, and do they leave it somewhere like a shed or garden if asked?

Hi,

I got my big cage (and hutch and run) from zooplus - I was in at the time but I have had other things from them left with a neighbour no problem. Not sure if they would leave it anywhere else or not though .... cant remember for sure but they might have needed a signature for them.... I think if you contact them beforehand and ask it would be worth a shot....

I will see if they have a notes bit when i order it, so i can write where to put it. My mum is off this week, but i doubt i'll get it that quickly.

When I order things it always says they'll be delivered by DHL but they're delivered by the post office and the post man just leaves them in the car port!

Thanks, that is handy to know. If it was DHL i would have to travel 40mins to get it if they didn't leave it, but the post office is only 10mins!

I had to sign for the cage I ordered but it did come within the week.

Well it mightn't be the same where you are, but it's always the post office for me.

Although it comes from Germany (I think) my huge three storey cage came on the Tuesday after I ordered it on the Friday. Unfortunately, Royal mail played rugby with it on the way but zooplus put everything right. I was very impressed with them. I was in when it came so don't know about the other bit.

I ordered 2 double cages last monday and DHL carded me on thursday and i arranged a redelivery they will leave it with a neighbour but need a signature always had a fantastic service from Zooplus with fast delivery.

I have read a lot that bits are always broken etc as they come quite far, but they always say that Zooplus amends it, which is good to know

I am guessing with the bank holiday it wont come until next week, unless i am lucky and it comes this Friday!

If they can deliver after 5 it would be perfect, otherwise a neighbour will do!
