Yumi lost his wheak and does a weird "kakakkakak" sound

I have a quick question about one of my piggies. In my previous threads that I had deleted, I mentioned that I took my 2 guinea pigs to the vet for health exams and poop/blood tests, it costed me $330 and the only thing the vet did was tell me they're negative for fungal/parasites.

My eldest Yumi (6months old)) was able to wheak as he popcorns when I first got him last month, but since about 2 weeks ago he has lost the ability to wheak and switched to vocalizing by purring or biting on cardboard instead, he still tries to join his siren cage mate in wheaking WHENEVER I move around my room for food but sadly it just sounds like air, but he tries HARD, its sad. He also hasn't been drinking water unlike Bomi who acts like he's possesed by a water ghost. Yumi just takes one sip every once in a while but does poop and eat well, they both get lettuce and cherry tomatoes daily with a variety of other greens.

ALSO accompanied by his lost ability to wheak, he has been doing this weird sound which is neither coughing or sneezing, more like a sneakering, like "kakakakkak," it sounds like multiple quick coughs overlapping. Haven't been able to catch it on camera yet. He usually does it twice in a row maybe 2 times a day. It kind of sounds like he's laughing.

I clean their room everyday, their kaytee hay does have a lot of dust, even makes ME sneeze, so I started first putting it in a container where I try to un-dust it before giving it to them.

Any advice? :(

If you are concerned at the loss of wheek and the strange noises, then the best thing would be to take him to the vet for an examination to rule out a URTI
