Today, just a few hours ago, my 3 months old guinea pig, Silver, died lying in her cage, not moving. She was totally fine before she died. Infact, I was playing with her only an hour before she passed away. I don´t understand how this happend. She was fine and now she´s dead. Her friends, the guinea pigs she was sharing cage with, one who is the same age as the one who died, and another one who is 3 years old, are both fine. So I don´t understand. Thats why I was wondering if you have any idea what could have happend to her? Would be really helpfull
and would make me get some closure.

I'm so sorry for your loss 💕

They can have heart problems sometimes and death can be sudden and unexpected. It might have happened at any time. I lost one to what was probably some sort of heart attack. She was older but I found her one morning flopped out in the cage with bits of hay still sticking out of her mouth. She had just dropped dead while she was eating so she must have been happy before it happened. It sounds like your little girl was happy and that was most important to her. Sending love x

I’m sorry for your loss. Unfortunately we can’t tell you what May have caused her death. Only a post-mortem would really do that. Sounds like she was extra happy the time she was with you so keep that in your heart and mind. ❤️
