Have a piggy here atm his ears are very waxy, have cleaned them and rubbed olive oil in, then cleaned them again today they are looking a lot better and he doesn't have an infection in the ears but the wax is still a bit clogged and annoying him when I clean the ears.

The ear wax is more milky white in colour not dark brown (he's a white guinea not sure if that makes a difference).

It is impoving but there is a lot of wax in it and although there's no infection it is annoying him when I clean them out, I know Otodex is safe but is Tropex safe to use or can anyone recommend another brand?
Don't worry he will be going to the vet before hand but want to make sure they give the right and most effective drops.

Have you tried warming the oil a bit? I was advised that by a vet years ago.

Was afraid to warm the oil in case it was too warm but sat the oil in a ramekin into a bowl of warm water for a minute so it was runnier but room temp. Worked well, ears are all clear now :))
