Yep it’s warm and...

What do you tend to do with these?
pop them in the freezer and at the hottest part of the day, put them into the hitches usually by the bedroom opening and that way they walk over them.

Do you put yours in covers or just leave them as they are?
I leave them as they are. I have used bottles as well but they take up a bit of space in the freezer however I will be doing bottles as well for tomorrow.

I also try and keep patio where the hutches sit watered down to keep it cooler and naturally they have a large parasol so they are out of the sun.

Only just come back from a couple of days away, but the frozen water bottle rotation has started! The cage is indoors and shaded, but the room gets warm in the afternoon.

Just found out we were the warmest part of England today. Grass time was from 8.30 to 10.00 tonight - far too hot before

My weather station said it was 32 degrees in the shade this afternoon at 4:30pm. Phew! Grass time had to wait until 6pm when it was a bit cooler, until 8:45pm. Luckily our piggie room seems to stay relatively cool, at about 23 degrees max.

What make are they? Thinking of investing as I use the snugglesafe heat pods, just from the fridge and they don’t stay cool for long (and I use water bottles but the pigs don’t like them!)
