Yayyyyy my boy pee'd on me.....but you know what that means......?
It means he sat with me long enough to pee all over me and that means....drumroll.....I got my very first cuddle last night!
Now I'm not sure if it's a one off, or because Manny managed to escape yesterday and had me chasing him round the room for an hour......I didn't even manage to catch him - it was him that walked back to his cage to see Floyd mallethead He made me look like a right idiot and I'm sure he was thinking - right well that's you in your place Missy.....")
I had to pick him up last night because my brother and nephew are staying at mine, so I'm sleeping at my boyfriends (he lives next door) I want them with me, so we had to move the cage etc. I was dreading picking him up for fear of being clawed to death again, but I did and after the initial run round the cage when I did get a hold of him, he seemed calm and still. So later I tried for a cuddle and he had a nosey around but mostly settled down for a bit of a back rub.........
I hope this was because now he's seen that after a good run round my room, nothing bad is going to happen to him. Maybe it's helped him get some confidence back! Or maybe he's realised this is his forever home? Wherever I go, they go with me?
Anyway, who cares, they were happy playing and popcorning and munching away at my boyfriends and I stole a cuddle! I just hope it's the first of many!
