So what are you all having?

We are having beef this year! WOOHOO! No more turkey 2funny

If I were having xmas on my own, I would have chicken in a tomato and garlic sauce with jasmine rice. Just thought I'd share that thought.

Having turkey with all the trimmings! Not brussel sprouts for me, the piggies, yes! Love turkey! :)

That chicken in sauce sounds yum :)

It is nice - I make it all myself, including the sauce. However it's not Atkins-friendly, so I rarely have it these days! Its a sauce made of tinned tomatoes, puree, peppers, onions, garlic and herbs, then you cook the chick, chop it and shove it into the sauce to get the flavours into the meat and have it with jasmine rice. It's very nice. :)

I'll be having whatever someone else cooks, I'm on strike this xmas day

Jas rice is also known as Thai fragrant rice. I think it's called jasmine because it is very young rice grains and they have a floral taste to them. Works very nice with tomatoey things.

well I'm off to mums for christmas lunch, cant wait last year with friends and family coming on different days i ended up cooking 4 different dinners :( so ive got a break this year! WOOOOHOOOOO...Mind you ill be offering todo pots.lol

We go to my mum and dads for xmas day! Mum always does a traditional Christmas dinner - Turkey, sausage wrapped in bacon, stuffing, yorkshire pud, roasties, parsnips, sprouts etc etc - mmmm making me hungry just thinking about it...

Can never ever beat my mums cooking! :) hehe cant wait! :)

Wherever you are and whatever you eat - hope you all have a good Xmas! :) x

We're eating home this year I think, did last year too.

We will have a traditional dinner I think.. probably turkey, I'd prefer something else but I will live with turkey. Our Christmas dinner is way too big :P We have.. turkey (or some other meat), mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, carrots, peas, brocolli, cauliflower, sprouts, cabbage, leak (eww), and probably more veg, 'pigs in blankets' (ie little sausages with bacon wrapped round thm.. yum) and gravy.

My brothers will be turkey (which he will probably leave), carrots, peas, gravy and pigs in blankets, how fun. ::)

None :'(

My shift starts at 1:30 PM, so its too early for my family to have it, and too late to get any of the lunch they are having at work.
As my shift ends at 9:30 PM, I wont be having christmas dinner with my family either, and at work they dont do christmas dinner, just lunch.

Ah well.

I'm going to my mums so it'll be the traditional turkey with all the trimmings. Usually she will do another meat as well like beef-she likes to feed us all up! :)

I'm thinking of a chestnut and mushroom en croute in red wine sauce style dish in filo pastry, or a nut roast, with vegan gravy, veggies and roast pots. We buy village bakery vegan pud and Il do soya custard or trifle?

Aunt will no doubt cook a nutroast boxing day for big family dinner - il have to lend her a few books.

Mum and me will be eating vegan christmas day - dad will have to have his meat - if I'm cooking he will have to get something in a tray to throw in the bottom of the oven ;D I dont go too near meat!

You can buy a realeat vegan roast chicken style pack in holland and barrett with veg sausages in veg bacon but I'm not really keen on those!

Care Assistant in a residential home.

They have a big lunch for everyone starting at something like 12:30, so I will be too late.. I mean of course there will be some special treats for tea time and supper - but not a proper Xmas dinner/lunch.

Maybe I can convince my boyfriend parents to do it on the day before, hopefully.

Probably a nut roast cos I am veggie but all my family will be having traditional turkey dinner.

My boyfriends' working 7:30 am -7:30 pm on Christmas Day so we're gonna be apart all day and he won't be able to get a Christmas dinner on the day. We are having Christmas Day 2 on Boxing Day.

Me and Steve have so much for xmas dinner. Its obscene ;D We have 3 kinds of meat and tatties and sprouts and sausages in bacon. Only half of it ever gets eaten. Then the cats get their xmas dinner in their special bowls.
We don't eat till about 7 or 8 cos we've been in the pub till 3 ;D
