I recused my guinea pig 3 weeks ago he came with a small cage. A week ago he cut him self with the cage door. He bleed alot i use saline bleeding stopped,now has a blood scab. Vet states he fine keep cage clean, also its not blocking his nostril. He eating drinking, popcorning.
My question how long can it take for the scab to fall off? Weeks &mont,hs?
was waiting for his new cage which cam in couple of days ago, he has a new safe c&c cage.

It will fall out when the new skin underneath has formed and it has healed properly. It wouldn’t normally take long but it all depends on how bad the wound was in the first place

Are you going to get him a friend? Piggies are highly social and need to be kept in pairs so they don’t get lonely.
As you say he, then your piggy can live with one male friend, or he can be neutered and after the sis week post op wait, he can be bonded with a sow.
Two boars together need a large c&c cage which needs to be 5 grids by 2 grids.
