I feel like crying we're having another revamp.... Noooooo! :x

I know the cage is new but Wilma looks traumatised... and scared to move... So I'm moving my bed, there new cage will go over were my bed is and my bed was previously this way everyone will be on the floor and they will each hopefully get a 3 x 3, they will be living side by side. If Fred doesn't like it I'll block it off so he can't see them.

I repeat no more cage changes...

I don't know if its possible but I think Wilma is surffering from a fear of heights, as she honestly does look scared to move! The Question being why don't I just swapped them round... I figure this will better for both groups and I'll take away the haylofts... so it'll just be 2 easy access cages and my piggies can run about.

I think I have lost the plot!

I hope that it works out for Wilma!

At the end of the day, it's up to you and what works best for your pigs. Good luck with the re-construction. I hope Pollie hasn't started sewing the bedspreads yet. x

She hasn't I don't think she has the incopads yet... I've decided to wait a week to give her time to adapt before I change it again... and then I'll review the situation. I think I may have to ask Pollie to hold the piggy bedsheets.

Bedsheets on hold! I haven't got the inco pads and decided to try to clear all of my other orders before making these up.

Waiting a week won't make any difference to me!

Hi Joanne, I have an idea why wilma does not like the new cage and that is because the floor will be bouncing underneath her when she runs about! if you could support the out edge with a wooden bar across i am sure she will be fine, my lot found being upstairs unnerving until they got used to it

I shall try it, no harm in some support beams... I'll ask my dad if he can help me, fix some supports is it just a case of putting wooden beams across?

I think Eleanor is right. Even though the cage is sturdy it would still flex with all that open space. Check how Laura redid her cages! She found some wooden supports that fit perfectly. PM her to ask where! It's worth a try, before you dismantle the whole beast again... :).

I'm sure Laura did a thread for her new set up... I'll have a look and see if I Can find it. :o
