Would This Work As An Indoor Run?

I currently just let my guinea pig out on the floor but before I do I have to stuff old towels into all the gaps where I don't want him to go (under the chair, behind the couch etc). My kids pull the towels out all the time so I cant just leave them there. I was looking at idea's for an indoor run and thought about using cable ties to connect cooling racks together. I have a big waterproof mat and double bed sized fleece so could buy a lot of them and make a really big run. I was also thinking if I left 2 unconnected then I could fold it up for easy storage (like a travel cage I saw on here) These are the sheets Wilko Wire Cooling Rack 43x27cm do you think this would work?

It would work out £24 for a huge 5'.5"x 5'.5" which seams really cheap and a lot bigger than buying a run

Yes in a nut shell it would work.. Great size too...

The unconnected ones you can overlap them and secure them together with a strong Bulldog Clip..

bulldog clip is a great idea thanks, I was thinking about just tying them with a piece of sting but the clip idea would be much easier
