Ohh great, how many of those packs would I need bearing in mind they come in packs of 8? I would like a decent sized cage so I can add lots for them to do. Also, what do I use for the bottom to put under the fleece and puppy pads?

One pack of the above is 30 panels, you only need a 3x2 (or 10 panels if you dont need a lid and itll sit on the floor) to meet the bare minimum cage size, so 30 panels is plenty.

Most people use correx for the base of the cage I got mine from protection.co.uk and its called proplex over there.

Ok, Excuse my stupidly, I'm rubbish at anything vaguely DIYish, but really want my guinea pigs to have a good spacious cage.

So have I got this right?

This for the base: http://www.protection.co.uk/products/proplex-2mm-corrugated-twin-wall-plastic-board/

How many of those do I need? It says they are £3.57 a piece, how many do I need and how do I join them together?

This as the actual cage: http://www.amazon.co.uk/SEVILLE-Sto...tional/dp/B00HN7X1OK/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

How do I attach it to the base? I thought of aquarium sealant but don't know how it would work.

Thank you so much for your help!

PS. Do I need a lid? I don't have any kids, just me and my boyfriend live here. I have one rabbit and four hamsters, but the hamsters are always in their cages and the rabbit is downstairs and the guinea pigs would be upstairs and there is a stairgate so the rabbit can't get up the stairs.

You do not need a lid. I do not have one. For the bottom I do not have anything! I just have it on the floor. I warn you it makes wooden floors rise but you can use a shower curtain.

I got my plastic covered grids from eBay.Is a storage unit consisting of 13 grids for 18 pound.I have a ground sheet then incontinence bed pads then fleece. Mine are litter trained.I use cable ties to connect them.Good luck
