Would This Make A Suitable Play Pen?

I guess it could work if they were only in it for a short time and you lined it with something.
I think the problem would come in keeping it clean if they did a wee in it.
It isn't practical to throw it in the machine, and endless spot cleaning will get tedious pretty quickly.
We use a metal run inside, and pop it onto a fleece blanket which is easy to wash.
The run folds flat for storage.

We bought a pen like this
as part of the daughter's full guinea pig kit, but to use it we line with towel and fleece. If I had the time again, I'd go for a cage run system that folds down and doesn't have a fixed base. Like Swissgreys says, the fleece is easy to wash rather than a tent-like fabric that you'd need to spot clean.

i have a large one of these from zooplus. the bottom of the pen has a washable base that un zips.i place a fleece blanket in. the pen folds up,and has a zip sturdy nylon top, which is great as a indoor pen,

I have got a metal pen which I do use with a fleece blanket :)

Was thinking of another alternative :)
