Yes that could work but you would need alot of it. Have you thought of Megazorb, it is like paper and very absorbant. Lots of people on here use it, I used to but have now switched to vet bed for my guineas which you can machine wash. Expensive to begin with but not in the long run as you reuse it.

They need changing today and I was going to nip to pets at home after work to buy them some different bedding. I'm currently using sawdust xx

Wel changed it and they love it popcorning everywhere ha ha ha ha problem is there eating the hay now ha ha ha ha ha x

I use that in my hamster beds, they love it. However for GP's you would need a lot of it, although they would love it!

Foraging is a natural behaviour for piggies so I'm not surprised that they're loving it, picking out the hay. Just make sure they always have a fresh supply in a hayrack or something, so they still have some lovely clean hay when they start peeing on the floor!

If that paper stuff works for you, then great! Have you ever thought about switching to fleece? There are pros and cons to all bedding but you could buy a fleece from Primark for less than the cost of a bag of the paper stuff :)
