Would this be big enough?

I'm thinking about getting my piggies a new cage! I currently have two pairs of females which I have tried to put together but there has been blood drawn more than once so I have them in two cages both 120 x 60 cms The space I have I could fit a 5 by 3 grid into, split in 2 equal sections. Would this be enough room for the two of them?
Hopefully they will eventually all get on together but I don't hold my hopes up so the cage needs to be separated.
Any opinions greatfully received
Also I have found a seller on ebay for the cubes at £21 (inc p and p) and am looking for a supplier for coroplast in the Redditch area so any suggestions for bargains, lease let me know

Is there a Wickes near you? I got my cubes from there for £14.99 and no p&p (because I went to pick them up). Sign makers are good for correx - some will give you offcuts for free, or sell you a single sheet for a reasonable price.

Ooh I do have a Wickes nearby, might have to get my mum to give me a lift though as I don't fancy lugging them all them all the way home!
Thanks for that info :)
I've been trying to work out a good cage layout for my piggies but hopefully the bigger pack of grids will come back in stock soon at b&q as I don't think I can make a decent enough sized cage for the 2 pairs with just a 16 pack.:(

I got my grids from Wickes too, it might be a good idea to print off the item numbers from the website though as the sales assistants had no idea they sold them until the manager walked past and said where they were.

I got my correx from here http://www.teacratepackaging.co.uk/correx-board-p-88.html delivery was next day and if you use the promo code "guinea" you will get 10% off. rolleyes

do you mean 5x3 grids for 4 divided into 2? I'm not sure that would be big enough

3x5 grids equal 15 square. As the grids are 14" you should be just about right on minimal space if you put a divider right through the middle.

However, I think that with a divider down the middle you may need to buy a second pack of grids (there are only 16-17 in one pack). It would give you the possibility of adding a hayloft and creating more space that way, though!

Cable ties etc. you can get at Wickes. Correx you can also get in local sign making shops from the yellow pages. I had mine cut to size and had only to pay for what I bought, so it may be worth researching.

Could you do two levels? so that you had 2 5 by 3 cages on top of each other?

I've decided to go for a c and c cage to give my piggies more room and interact more with each other. I've wanted one for a while but until recently owned a cat (r.i.p. Pepper) so a cage was best for then.
I think i'm going for a 6 x 3 cage split in 2, plus haylofts if possible. Just got to wait for materials now, 1 x grids on order, 1 x grids at my sisters and correx at my mums!
