Just wondering if it would be possible to remove the upper shelves and replace with an upper floor? Probably a daft idea but was thinking of a way to give them extra space in the cage. Opinions and suggestions needed please.

I dont see why not - looks like you've got a reasonably high cage so might be worth trying.....

What would you make it out of ? I've got a wooden shelf in mine but I covered it in correx so that the pee doesnt sink into it.....

Would love to see pictures of it done if you decide to go ahead.

I've got this cage

The small shelf just up off the base is wooden - its the one I've covered in Correx.... its quite awkward getting in to clean under the shelf - might be worth thinking about but it seems to work okay for mine. The ramps are covered in fleece which is sewn onto the layer above to stop them slipping down....
