Sooo...last night I had Pepsi and Buddy out. Pepsi was acting very...unlike pepsi. He was running laps around our living room, running to smell my dads feet then to smell Lexi then to bump into me and then back to Buddy. He did this four or five times and then he ran to buddy and well..it looked like he was trying to mount her :o He did this a few more times and then my mom came home and demanded I put the pigs away because she didn't want them to pee on the carpet. I watched them in their cage and he didn't seem to try anything else.

I was wondering what might have triggered this very UN-Pepsi like behavior? He hasn't done this since before we got him neutered. Would a neutered male still want to mount a female? (an un-spayed female, fyi)

Thanks!

Yes its perfectly normal for a male to continue showing signs of sexual behavior after being neutered, because unlike dogs & cats, it dosnt change their behavior :)

I had a neutered boar and an entire sow a few years ago and when the sow was inseason she used to mount the boar!
I think he had been neutered for a few months and the sexual activity can drop and she was fustrated, lol!

do sows go into heat like horses do (lol)? Could that be whats causing it? Because it's just now that pepsi's being naughty :]

Normally he just goes and does his own thing..but lately he's been following buddy everywhere and mounting her when she stops moving. kinda embarassing to watch with my dad (hahahahaha)
