why not add another level to it like i have done with my nero 4? get some chip board and i use L shape brakets. screw the L shape brakets to the board and over hang the brakets 3 bars up from the base of the cage(so it makes a shelf in your cage)

get some correx and make a box about 6inch tall and tape it all together with duck tape, put it on your shelf in the cage and attach a ramp-i use guttering the type you have around your house roof, cut it down and line it with a towel and fix it to the correx with duck tape,

you can either use the second floor as a hay loft or use it to put blankets in x

here is another cage i converted so you can get an idea of what i mean

I was thinking of doing a mezzanine, do have some wood in the shed but I'm not very DIY lol the other thing I know I could manange is using some C&C grids or cooling racks and tie wrapping them :)

My ferplast cage had a house like yours. I replaced it with an igloo which actually took up a little bit more room but the girls were much happier because they could proper laps round the cage (and run round the house). :)

This is one of my 120 indoor cages - I cut a piece of 6mm plywood to fit the base where the wire top sits - then the wire just sits on top of that. It's strong enough to allow two pigs to feed/drink up there and leaves the base for running and playing in. The space underneath gives a nice sized bedroom. Having a dish under the water bottle keeps the area dry.

This cage is a temp one so hasn't got all the bedding, etc in there but shows the set up quite well.

I agree, an igloo takes up a lot of space. I took mine out of my boars cage and swapped it for a hammock because it took up less space.

I have one of these which I find quite good. Somehow 3 boars can fit downstairs if something scares them, but its quite a good space saving option to have a house on top too which is little Christophers house when he needs time away from the big boys. Plus they all like to knaw the wood which is good for their teeth. I think they find it fun too as i have seen nigel sitting on top of the top house!
