Hi, I've owned my Guinea pigs Mophead and Ginner for 2 years now. They live in a big outside wooden den.
Recently I've been seeing the occasional woodlouse roaming around. I stopped seeing them every time I cleaned the den after blocking their entrance. Horrifically, I just cleaned out the cage and seen 2 dints in the wooden wall with 6/7 wood louse around it. One of the holes leads into the walls of the den as they run in there and don't come out. While naturally id just remove them, they are now in the walls and I worry the walls will become extremely weak. They can't be too far in, just enough so I can't get them. There are many babies as well!
Is there any solution? I know woodlice aren't a threat to Guinea pigs (if they are, tell me!). I'm thinking I could place some kind of repellent around the hole, but I don't know any safe solutions which won't also disturb my Guinea pigs.
