I decided to build a wooden frame and cut coroplast sit on two different levels each level will be a 2x6. i will still have coroplast on the levels but i need ideas on how to build it if i can plan it out i can probably manage to do it. i can get most materials needed and we have alot of the stuff id need in the garage. i havent ever built a cage out of wood before but i want something sturdier than my c&c as my dog keeps breaking the the locks and getting into my boys cage I'm not really worried about her hurting fudge she just likes piggies but she is a very large dog and accidents happen and poor fudge is not to fond of his new house guest lol so id like to get him out of her way and give him a much bigger cage without taking up too much room so if anyone has maybe pictures of a cage they built that would be nice and if you can instruct me on how to built it that would be amazing. i do know how to do basic builts on stuff so as long as it is kept pretty basic i can do it. i also have plexiglass, wire mesh(similar to chicken wire), c&c panels and hinges and locks available and what i dont have can be bought

Here's my cage. I've changed the legs many times, but this is when the cage was stacked.

that cage is fab! what is the clear plastic at the front called? where do you get it?
Thanks! It's plexiglass. Got it from plastic warehouse around here. I believe in Europe, they call it Perspex.

oh my gosh i love your cage! is that perspex around it?
Thanks! The front is plexiglass. Got it really cheap from this place. Looks like they have 2 branches in IL.

how did you attach the perspex or plexiglass cant really tell which but i dont see how its attached?
After screwing the wood frames together, there's about an inch lip on the front. I drilled holes about 12 inches apart and screwed to the wood.

thanks so much for the pics and instructions were starting this this weekend! lol

You're welcome! I'd love to see pics when you're done.

i have not made an indoor cage but have made hutches and runs. my biggest piece of advice, learnt from experience, is to check your measurements several times, not just twice, before cutting anything lol!
