Hi just made up my first c and c cage for my first pair of guinea pigs, I was planning on using cage liners to cover the entire cage but after reading up I'm now debating using wood pellets with a layer if fleece on the top. Opinions on both please :) thanks!

:DThat sounds like a good idea, to have the wood pellets as an absorbent layer under the fleece. The fleece would probably feel a bit lumpy under their feet though! Cage liners would be a lot easier to clean out. A lot of us on here use cage liners, or fleece with towels underneath.

I use fleece over towels. Any sort of bedding like wood shavings or paper bedding is a disaster to clean up and so completely unnecessary for an indoor enclosure. Just do away with it entirely unless using a vacuum cleaner is one of your all-time favourite activities. :P
