Night before last I woke around 3am, hearing scurrying and squeaks in the cage, one of my piggies had got under the fleece liner and was between the coroplast and the line and from the sounds it was definitely I don't want to be down hear and want to find a way out. I lifted it for a period and she got out and back and then put it down again. I do see them sometimes at the side trying to burrow. As i hear them scratching the side like to dig it. One really likes the fleece pockets must be nice warm and snug under them. I expect this was her plan.

I will have to see if I can arrange the liners to stop a pig from being able to burrow under them

I did a bad thing too, since my recent 2 sows have found their voices - wheek volume has intensified - I gave them extra food so they would quieten down. Won't made a habit of this but it was like 4am again! Although its kind of cute when one wheeks so hard her ears pop up and down. Their wheeking set my other 2 off too. Think I should be happy they are settling though. Don't take food from my hand yet, but only 1 of 4 of my piggies do this currently

You could clip the fleece to the correx if it’s long enough. That’s what I had to do as my girls always used to find their way underneath the fleece! I then put in bath mats for them which they liked hiding under. Not the intended use but there you are. Another thing I did was out their hides to one side of the cage and drape a piece of fleece over it. That actually stopped them hiding under the bath mats. You could put some random fleeces in the cage for them to hide under if they wish.

I weigh down the fleece with strategically place huts and hay trays to prevent hiding under the fleece.
You can provide a suitable 'snuggling cave' with just a towel or bit of fleece and a tunnel to create an entrance on the cage floor instead underneath it.
