My pigs have been out doors since I got them and a few weeks ago I made some doors from wood (the type used to board up windows so its weather proof and thick!) So now its got colder we close the doors (so its very much like being in a shed) you think that'll be ok for winter?

If the wood is across the front of the hutch, make sure you leave plenty of ventilation holes
They are across the front yes, but we put an air vent on the side of the hutch, so they have air We did the same with our bunnies (although they are in a shed that we converted to a hutch), put an air vent on that too.
