Trying to think of something to put across our piggy pens at night other than blankets. We have extended our piggy family and have a large home built 12ft set up now along the lounge wall.
Am thinking of fitting a curtain rail along the top and some draw curtains but cannot find anything I like to go with the theme of the pen (beach hut)
Browsing on ebay, found these velour towels and if I bought four, could stitch two together lengthwise to make each curtain and make a header. They would leave a small gap in the centre so me being a fusspot, thought maybe a voile drape panel either end...

Some nice rope effect tie backs for the day maybe or shells ?
What do you guys think ?
Our set up to give you an idea of what I have in mind:

Rather than looking at making their pens warmer, what about making the room as a whole warmer? I.e thicker curtains at the window draft excluder outside the door?

I love your set up I feel like coming for a holiday :))

We have thermal lined very heavy winter curtains and OH fitted vertical blinds when we had the piggies, can't say the room gets cold but we just want them to be snug overnight if it does get really cold. Might just add the panels in various colours in terracottas, yellows and orange tbh rather than the towels, bit OTT ;) and just wanted peoples ideas on what to do. Before we extended the pen upwards, the piggies had blankets draped over the front but this will prove difficult this year :{

i dont have much in the sense of helping you with your question...
i just wanted to say your set up is AWSOME....!
x

i think your piggies are very lucky to be living indoors, and as long as they are not in a draught, dont need anything extra, just a cuddle from you before you go to bed!

i just put a few of the fabric tunnels in during the winter, though most of the time its not that cold here in the house with the heating on - fab set up too, makes me want to come over and holiday there!

wow! a whole piggie wall! thats awesome. I'm sure they would be warm enough as they are :)
