I'm planning on housing my pigs and buns outside permanently. They've never been outside in the winter, so I don't know how they'll react. It doesn't get very cold here in the winter but they're not used to being cold as we always have the heat on. The minimum it gets here is about 38F or 3C and there isn't much wind. I bought them a hutch they can enter and exit whenever they want and I'm planning on covering the sides over their pen, so I was thinking that would be fine. Should I do anything else to keep them warm?
Guinea Pig Fleece Igloo Cover Is this kind of thing good to have?

I have my 3 outside and plan on keeping them out there . We have a insulated cover and a waterproof cover also there beds are stacked with hay .. when it gets cold we will be purchasing the guinea heat pads I've seen talked about a lot on hear. But as long as u take the right steps in insuring there Walmer and check them before bed ect they should be just fine x

Mine have the same as Jomundy along with a couple of the snugglesafes and fleece bedding items/cosies. When it is particularly cold though I have moved them into the garage like last year and the blooming Siberian cold spell we had

Mine have an insulated cover and a thermal waterproof cover. They have snugglesafes that @Lady Kelly has already mentioned. LOADS of hay and fleecy items too. I put an old blanket on top of the hutch which I cover the front of the hutch with at night to help keep out the frost.

Ooo where do I get snugglesafes? And by fLeece do u mean like blankets ? X
