has anyone got it yet? just brought the green one home premium edition, gives my son something to do while we are away next month , if any have it whats it like?
 
I've heard it's rubbish. I was thinking about getting it for laptop but I got put off it with everyone sayin it isn't that good. It's a bit like Apple or something.
 
My brother said it's crap and a rip off of Apple.. he's never had it though, just heard that. Let us know how you get on with it :D
 
I guess these weren't really the replies you were hoping for Michelle? :-X Maybe we're all wrong though and it'll be good? :P
 
Its too new for me at the moment - i'm letting all the hundreds of bugs get ironed out a little bit first before I get a copy :)
 
my son Stuart is very into computers in fact he built our 2 plus did my lap top, let me explain one is for me and MIcks work the other computer is the kids and my lap top is a standby, I like to cover all bases lol
I brought a magazine today called windows vista the official magazine the first issue is 99p following ones are £3.99 so am reading up and its quite interesting not that I understand too much Stuarts going to read it before he installs mine next month, while I'm sunning myself lol, knowing my luck typhoon bill will hit the Caribbean, not much fun on a ship must get some more sea sick pills, just in case :D
 
I've got it & love the way it looks & all the features but i've had probs connecting to the net, not sure if it's vista's fault or NTL - maybe a bit of both :-\
 
Oh i've heard that it is very different to what we are used to. I've just ordered a new computer with Vista to be installed on it, well i suppose we'll soon know how i go with it :D :D
