I have 2 baby piggies that are in a double hutch, they are in the corner near the house and have a 6ft fence and brick wall at teh back of them, they dont use the bottom of the hutch yet so i have blocked the front of the bottom and filled it competely with hay so that will for a barrier, the top where they live the house part is filled with hay and has a heat pad in at night and its covered with a this plastic sheet will this be enough for now, they also have the wooden country cottage filled with hay to sleep in

Sounds good to me! It's not too cold at the moment anyway compared to what it will be like later in the year! I think what your doing will keep them lovely and warm!

I agree. It sounds great :) as already mentioned, it is going to get colder so it is better to convert the hutch gradually.

My four free range in the shed. For the last 2 nights it has been getting down to 2 degrees so they've been having snuggle safes and a fleece blanket to snuggle up in. It's going to be 9 degrees tonight so they're not getting a snuggle safe or the fleece blanket.
