Will it ever end? Caramel & marshmallows turn to loose weight!

I'm going to have fun this week trying to arrange 3 vet appointments

Caramel- down from 833g to 707g (slow weight loss over a month) noticed slightly slanty incisors (she's had this before, back teeth were fine and they straightened out) but since there's weight loss this time and she seems a bit lethargic I'm going to get her checked out.

Marshmallow- down from 1130g to 950g again gradual weight loss, nothing obvious except a little lazy today, she snuffles long term but heart and lungs are fine. Been mentioning her at nuggets appointments but I'm thinking ill have to get her checked now too.

Effie the cat- itchy and sores on her belly and ear so she also needs an appointment booking

Thankyou the timings just really bad I think, I was there on Friday with nugget and her weight loss and gum swelling issue. it's so soon after loosing mal too so I keep hoping they're just loosing weight because their grieving!

I do find it a little odd that all my piggies are loosing weight at the same time with either no or different symptoms when nothing has changed in their environment or diet

I know I don’t want to eat as much when the temperature is really high.

The vet did say heat increases their metabolism! She also thinks nuggets weight loss is in part age related. Fingers crossed for nothing to worry about but I'm going to get caramels teethies checked so I may as well get marshmallow checked too. Though I may need to make multiple vet trips cause I can't imagine them having 3 vet apps at the same time!

Thankyou nugget doesn't need another appointment but it doesn't stop me worrying about her timing effie the cats appointment with when she's in and not out wondering is going to be the hardest she will not stay in the house lol

We have noticed that most of our piggies have lost a little weight over the past two weeks and have assumed it is related to the hot weather.

Hopefully all your piggies will be ok.

Back from the vets... its either 3 badly times issues or some sort of mystery infection.
Caramel- has all the signs of dental issues except the molars look okay. They couldn't see the very back so next stage would be sedation for a closer look but she's a bit too weak for that so we've been instructed to perk her up first! All 3 have been given metacam, 0.8ml baytril twice daily and 0.2 pancur once daily (just incase). As its suspicious that they're all loosing weight together. As caramel is also looking very flat and lethargic and has reduced appetite she's also got cisapride and is being syringe fed emeraid ic.
Marshmallow- other than the slight snot there was nothing too obvious except she did a wee on the table which was very clear so they ran it through the machine and its very dilute. No protein or blood or anything but she may need her kidneys checking on if the antibiotics and wormer don't work.
They also looked at nugget for comparison and it's probably what we already know about with her but she's also doing baytril and pancacur just incase! I have had half an hours sleep all night (thanks kids!) So I'm very tired. Most worried about caramel currently. Got to send an email update daily over the next few days. Effie the cats turn Friday.
