please need all safe recommendations for keepings cats out the garden! next doors cat likes to use both the back (massive stones so no idea why) and front (grass with some bushes) gardens to poo and wee in! obviously worried about feeding the grass to the girls with cat wee on but also need to ensure whatever i put down won’t harm them when they eat the grass. please help am pulling my hair out!

🐈 ❌ (i love cats, i wouldn’t mind the visits if he didn’t leave his presents!)

We used to have a cat sprinkler that deterred cats from using our lawn as a toilet. It was attached to a hose pipe with an outside tap.
As soon as a cat crossed its vision it would blast a shot of water across and send the cat on its way. I like cats but can’t abide cat poo on my lawn! The said cat has died some years ago so don’t have it but you can buy them online

You can get those metal cats with glass eyes that's supposed to deter cats from the garden.

Although some people round the corner from me - put clear 2litre plastic bottles about half full of water out on their lawn, apparently the sun/light reflects off the water & the cats don't want to go near.
