I have 2 very wild little boyz which I rescued, I am using a pigloo style comfort box to train them and get them used to being handled, the box is very comfortable and well lined with shredded paper and straw, however I am a little worried they are going to hurt themselves scrabbling around. Can anyone give me any advice please

Hi there. First straw is not safe as a bedding for guinea pigs. They are likely to get hay pokes. Vetbed or fleece is popular for bedding. It is good to coach them into something to pick them up. I cannot see how they would hurt themselves. Please ensure you have two of everything to prevent the boys from fighting.

Thankyou for the advice, I wasnt aware of the fact about straw, will defo be seeking an alternative, do you have any advice on the best brands to use

I really like vetbed. It looks like a carpet. You use it with towels underneath. It needs to be washed every three days at 60 degrees. I get mine from dogs product direct.
